A lesson taught by a Teacher - #1000speak

This post also appeared on The Huffington Post

The first day at a nearby day care for Pihu, now 2.5, was a disaster. The teacher could not handle her crying as my daughter missed me, my number was not reachable and by the time I came to check on her, the clueless, dumb teacher shouted at her.

US Polo T-Shirts that make you stand out!

I got some shopping vouchers applicable to specific brands. Since they were of good value, we wanted to use them. It had been more than 6 months but they were still lying with me as being parents of an active baby leaves you with less time to think anything other than essential. One day, as I was about to leave for an event, when I remembered one of the store mentioned in the voucher was nearby - it was a showroom of US Polo - how could I miss that after all, it's one of my fav brands to adorn my husband :).

IS God some external entity?

I am a chicken when it comes to something that can hurt the body, even a small prick. Even after becoming a mother, I need someone by my side whenever I have to undergo a blood test. So going through the labor was a mammoth task for me!

A Conscious Change

She needs a Closure to Rest in Peace!

I am a very sensitive person in the words of my father. So sensitive that I avoid talking too much to people, as I can get attached in just few minutes and start crying. Extreme personality? Perhaps, you are right! That also explains why my husband ensured that I don't see the newspaper when Nirbhaya 'case' happened as those days, I was nursing my then two months old daughter. But how could an ugly blot that tarnished and shocked whole country remain hidden from me? No word exists that can describe the horrors a person went through just for being a woman. I felt devastated! As a nation, we all were!

Five point something for my kid

What a wonderful feeling is to have a baby! Ever since I have taken a break from active professional life, I am marvelling at my toddler's itsy-bitsy activities each day. And I feel as if she too is enjoying having a happy Mommy at her service for full day. What else can explain her waking up smilingly every morning? The girl who was giving us tough nights till few months ago (read here), now wishes us Good-morning and showers us with hugs and kisses.

God is a Trickster

Sometimes, I lovingly call God as Mr. 420. There is an incident from my life which was nothing short of a miracle and that make me call God as the ultimate trickster.

Angels in my life

Every person who is living life through each day is an achiever. We all are fighting our own battles but can we compare our struggles and success with anyone? For what may be just a few centimetres for any human is a long tiring journey for an Ant. But does that make an Ant a lesser being or a human any superior?
