I think that should be penalized as it promotes a culture where employees just live for job. People who are efficient and who finish their work on time get the word 'Expected'. One of my friend summed like this- Do your work and nobody notice you. Screw it, and then fix it and you are a savior :)Roohi Bhatnagarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06278521377428515783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551333219152518713.post-6490265845557434192014-06-26T07:11:15.656+01:002014-06-26T07:11:15.656+01:00Exactly Shweta.. I have a tendency to work within the stipulated 9hrs but often people have misunderstood my prompt and efficient 10 to 7 working as lesser dedication to work.
Only if you come on time and leave late means you are working well! It doesn't matter if in between you waste time on multiple coffee breaks, Carrom breaks, post lunch walks etc.

Strange is our IT world!
Neha Sharmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12707560695941297699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551333219152518713.post-70398832276847506392014-06-24T07:37:38.017+01:002014-06-24T07:37:38.017+01:00Its really nice!! Though i am not experienced on this however, i took it in a perspective of a working woman and it could relate to what you have written. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01272566806003281467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551333219152518713.post-2699193013099140412014-06-20T06:44:10.029+01:002014-06-20T06:44:10.029+01:00hehehe.. well, I never intended to write in that d...hehehe.. well, I never intended to write in that directions.. I have all my regards for fatherhood. But I can only express a mother's emotions. Would be interested to read your side of stories as well. :DRoohi Bhatnagarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06278521377428515783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551333219152518713.post-87586593507498028202014-06-20T05:53:00.192+01:002014-06-20T05:53:00.192+01:00:) Well put Alok. Fathers are generally less expressive of emotions (I guess that is what comes from being a man), while mothers find it easy to express their connect. But I guess our natural tendency of being single focused helps us to look at one thing at at time, keeping emotions in abeyance in the background processing of our brain. However women find that hard, being multi-taskers by design :DPiyushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13337011981798038566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551333219152518713.post-16637623221959870052014-06-20T04:40:41.637+01:002014-06-20T04:40:41.637+01:00You said it right Roohi that "fathers and mot...You said it right Roohi that "fathers and mothers have different sort of association with babies. Both care for their children but with different tendency.". It is not actually the tendency but what I feel is that mothers are too much emotionally attached with their kids, while fathers also has this emotional touch, but then they don't express it much.

You already know that my daughter is also having the same name Pihu and it is also not true that I don't think about her during my working hours. But then all these thinking remain inside me only.Alok Vatsnoreply@blogger.com
